Summary: The work schedule for this position is Full Time (48 hours per week).
Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Qualifications and Evaluations
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years of driving experience including dispatcher operations is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: The incumbent must quickly acquire knowledge of 14 Foreign Affairs Manual/Foreign Affairs Handbook (FAM/FAH), post transportation policies, and travel regulations. S/he must have basic computer and MS Suite knowledge. Knowledge of automated Motorpool operations management systems is also required.
- Completion of Secondary School (10 years of education) is required.
- LANGUAGE: Level III (good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English and Level IV (fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing of Urdu are required. English language skills will be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to operate a personal computer and radio. The incumbent must have a valid Pakistani automobile driver’s license to transport passengers and possess a Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) driver’s license to operate light and heavy trucks. Applicants must show proof that they have a minimum of five years of licensed driving experience. Skills and abilities will be tested.
